Levi is walking!

Levi is officially walking now! I am so excited I am bursting at the seams. While I have known that he is in the normal range for walking I have been a little put out with him because he has been our slowest walker yet. Not only that, but he has been so close for a really long time and was just being a little wussy about it.

Not anymore. On Saturday before Easter my mom, Annie and I went to the mall to do a little window shopping and to let the kids play on the toys while the men went to the Priesthood session of conference. I don't know if it was all of the other kids around him walking and playing or if it was the squishy, soft floor that gave him the gumption to start, but he started. He took about 10 steps before falling and that was that. It was all he needed for courage. The rest of the night I would stand him up and he would take off always being able to get about 3 or 4 steps in before falling.

He has been working tirelessly at it ever since Saturday and he is now up to a fairly consistent 10-15 steps before falling. He still won't take off of furniture or things by himself, but if you stick him in the middle of the floor he is more than happy to start walking wherever he wants to go.

We got him on video so that we could show him off to everyone. Isn't my baby cute?!
