My Angel

Do you ever feel like there are angels in your life? People who were sent to help you? I truly feel like I have a beautiful angel in my life. My sister-in-law Renee is a saint and I would truly be lost without her. Today she watched my kids this afternoon so that Landon and I could work. She does this often and has done for most of my kids lives. She has either watched them for free or for extremely cheap. And while this is enough to call her an Angel, she always serves me so beautifully while she is tending my children.

Today I left her with my three very tired and bratty children in my utterly disgusting and messy house and returned to a tidied up home. She did my dishes and tidied up my children's rooms and front room. I wish I could say this has been the first time that she has done this for me, but in all honesty, she has done it more times than I can count. The Lord has dealt Renee and her family some very serious challenges and struggles in the last couple of years. They received even more troubling news today, and yet she found the time to serve me. Renee always leaves my life better than when she found it. She has packed and unpacked my house, cared for my physical and emotional needs, and given me the little sister I always wished I had. I love her and am so very grateful for this wonderful woman that I am lucky enough to have in my life.
